Happy Hearse Fundraiser Gig
The night of October 4th three bands came together in an iconic Auckland Bar to play epic music while raising money for RPE.
Happy Hearse headlined the gig with a “face melting set” along side Sex Beard from Christchurch and Auckland’s favourite Bad Jones. What was especially cool was how all band members took notice of their lyrics and created a set that both rocked and respected. Our ED, Debbi Tohil, was given the awesome opportunity to speak and deliver messages of consent, respect and what the mahi of RPE is.
The gig was organised by RPE advocate Duncan, buckets circulated as the bands played, raising money for RPE. Over $400 dollars was raised in Auckland and another couple of hundred in Hamilton the following weekend.
